Beschreibung
   Since the beginning of 2004 High Speed Dirt toured at full speed across the country after its successful debute at the Nieuwe Oogst Festival in Venlo. Many more performances followed rapidly and in 2005 High Speed Dirt played at the Heineken Queensday Festival at Maastricht and rocked a sold out Bosuil in Weert, The Netherlands. Supported by a touringcar packed with fans the band finished first in a staggering final at the international music contest “Scolarta” in a sold out Bonbonniere at Maastricht.

That very same year High Speed Dirt released its first cd “Carnival of Animals” and the videoclip of “Hitman’s Tale” won the golden award at the yearly Omega Awards, a Dutch filmmaker festival. By the end of 2005 Jens decided to devote himself to vocals solely, and a new rhythm guitarist was found in the person of Sander Hendrikx.

In 2006 High Speed Dirt won the local on air bandcontest of Late Night Sessions, a show by Radio Venlo. The trophy guarantees the band of supporting an international headliner on a large rock event in the near future. Besides touring, the band started to record its official debute e.p. “King Diesel”, which was released in 2007. The plans for the coming year are clear, maximum exposure and tonnes of pure hardrock.
